HOLYOKE, Mass. (November 14, 2012) – The Volleyball Hall of Fame is proud to announce the Inaugural Spalding Western Massachusetts Girls High School Volleyball All-Star Team.

The 28 players selected for this honor represent 18 schools from throughout Western Massachusetts. Each of the players will be invited to play in the Inaugural Spalding All-Star Volleyball Game presented by the Volleyball Hall of Fame.

The event will be held at the William J. Dean Gymnasium on Tuesday, November 20th and will start at 6:30pm. Admission is $5 for Adults and $3 for students/seniors.

“The Volleyball Hall of Fame recognizes the achievements of the greatest volleyball athletes throughout the world,” said VHF Executive Director George Mulry. “It’s also important to recognize the rising stars and those that are doing tremendous things locally.”

Selected players were chosen by a committee consisting of local coaches, officials, and the media. Division III Western Mass. Champion Frontier Regional and Division II runner-up Minnechaug Regional led all honors each having four players named to the All-Star Team. Please see the attached sheet for the complete list.
