Volleyball Hall of Fame Holiday Gifts For All
- New biography of volleyball inventor available

HOLYOKE, Mass. --- The Volleyball Hall of Fame's gift shop is your one-stop shopping center for those sports, Holyoke and volleyball fans on your list.

The Hall of Fame is offering 10% discounts on most official Volleyball Hall of Fame activewear and mementos and an opportunity to pre-order "The Untold Story of William G. Morgan - Inventor of Volleyball" by Joel Dearing.

Dearing's book features many new revelations concerning the early history of the sport. He serves as head coach of the Springfield College women's volleyball team. The Hall of Fame will be a featured retailer of the book - through the holidays - for the hard and soft cover versions of the book. Arrangements can be made for signed copies. The book is scheduled to be available as early as December 6.

"We invite everyone to come down and celebrate with us," says Vin Olinski, Volleyball Hall of Fame president. "We stock some great gifts, and Joel's book is a 'must-have' for all coaches, players and students of the game."

The Volleyball Hall of Fame will be closed on December 25 and January 1 to observe the holidays, but will remain open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from noon until 4:30 p.m.

Also, volleyball fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic at Springfield College, February 22-23, featuring USC, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, George Mason University and host Springfield College. The classic is regarded as the finest tournament for men's volleyball on the east coast.

Players and coaches will be able to pre-register for the Classic Players' and Coaches' Clinics, held at Springfield College, February 23. These clinics usually sell out quickly, so pre-registration is recommended.

The Volleyball Hall of Fame is located at 444 Dwight Street in Heritage State Park in Holyoke. The state park features the Children's Museum, the Heritage State Park Visitors' Center and the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round.
