BIOGRAPHY
Barry Couzner’s leadership transformed World ParaVolley. As President from 2014 to 2023, he oversaw remarkable growth, launching the World Super 6 competition and strengthening global development through revitalized commissions and committees. A lifelong advocate for inclusion in sport, Couzner previously served as President of Volleyball Australia, the Oceania Zonal Association, and was a Vice President of the Asian Volleyball Confederation. He managed volleyball for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and Paralympics. In 2008, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his contributions to volleyball. Couzner's global impact continues to shape ParaVolley’s future and elevate its standing in the international sport community.
