IVHF Announces Boston Sports Institutes as Newest Corporate Partner
HOLYOKE, MA USA. (January 30, 2017): The International Volleyball Hall of Fame (IVHF) is pleased to announce the Boston Sports Institutes (BSI) as its newest corporate partner. The two parties have come to terms on a three-year agreement that names the Boston Institute of Jump (BIJ) a Sport Performance, Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Partner of the IVHF.
As the leading player development company in the Northeast United States, BSI is dedicated to molding athletes into healthy, productive, disciplined, accountable, hard-working and responsible leaders and exceptional members of society and sport. The Boston Institute of Jump is a Volleyball Specific Player Development organization dedicated to taking volleyball athletes to elite levels through the use of Musculosystematic Engineering™ (MsE™), advanced professional training and education techniques at local, national and internationals clinics, camps and seminars.
“We are excited to become the first Sports Performance, Injury Prevention, and Rehabilitation Partner for the International Volleyball Hall of Fame,” said Aaron Jessee, Director of Player Development at the Boston Institute of Jump. “Our goals of improving the level of play in New England, nationally, and all over the globe aligns with the Hall of Fame’s aim of development and recognition for the great sport of volleyball.”
“The more an athlete is able to play their sport, the more they can excel,” said IVHF Executive Director George Mulry. “You can’t become a Hall of Famer if you’re injured and sitting on the sidelines while learning the game. BSI focuses on injury prevention and sport specific movements to help athletes enjoy greater ball control, increased vertical explosiveness and power, and an increased ability to avoid awkward landings that can lead to injury.”
Something to look out for in early 2017 is a series of free seminars at IVHF events for all participants where they explain in greater detail how MsE™ and proper movement can benefit any player or coach. The first two seminars will take place during the Morgan Classic Clinics on Saturday, February 4 at Springfield College. Space is still available for the Players Clinic and the Coaches Clinic. Visit www.MorganClassic.com for more information and to register.
