BIOGRAPHY
Kent Steffes redefined dominance on the beach. At just 27 years old, he won Olympic gold at the inaugural men’s beach volleyball competition in 1996 alongside Karch Kiraly, etching his name into history. One of the most efficient players ever, Steffes reached the podium in over 70% of his 233 career events, amassing 105 victories and four Manhattan Beach Open titles. He also earned FIVB medals, including a bronze at the first Beach World Championship in 1997 with Dain Blanton. A CBVA Hall of Famer and USAV All-Time Great, Steffes brought athleticism, precision, and a cerebral approach to the sand—cementing his place as a beach volleyball legend.
