IVHF Announces Class of 2025 Player and Coach Finalists and Opens Fan Vote

HOLYOKE, MASS. – The International Volleyball Hall of Fame (IVHF) is proud to announce the finalists for the Class of 2025, representing some of the most legendary athletes and coaches in the history of volleyball. In celebration of their remarkable achievements, fans from around the world are invited to participate in the official Fan Vote, open from April 1 through April 14, 2025 at IVHF.org.

This year’s slate of player and coach finalists includes volleyball icons from 13 different countries across five award categories: Male/Female Indoor Player, Male/Female Beach Player, and Coach. Finalists include Olympic champions, World and Continental title holders, and groundbreaking leaders who have helped shape the sport across generations.

“The Class of 2025 represents a diverse and incredibly accomplished group of individuals who have defined excellence in our sport,” said George Mulry, Executive Director of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. “We’re excited to invite fans to take part in the celebration and have their voices heard as we honor those whose legacies continue to inspire the global volleyball community.”

Fans can learn more about each finalist and cast their votes online for free at www.IVHF.org. The fan vote will be considered alongside the official selection committee's votes to help determine the 2025 inductees, who will be honored at the annual Induction Ceremony in Holyoke, Massachusetts—the Birthplace of Volleyball—this fall.

The new class of inductees will be announced on May 19, 2025.  The 2025 IVHF Induction Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025 in Holyoke, Mass., the birthplace of volleyball. The Celebration is open to the public and tickets are currently on sale now at VolleyHall.org/induction-tickets.
