IVHF Awards
The International Volleyball Hall of Fame gives out several awards each year at its annual Induction Celebration.
Court of Honor Award
Established in 1988 to honor an organization or team for its significant contributions and commitment to the sport of volleyball. Nominations for the Court of Honor Award must be supported by at least three sources and the prospective honoree must have been active for at least four years. William G. Morgan Award
Named in honor of the founder of volleyball, and created in 1994, the William G. Morgan Award recognizes continuous corporate support and promotion of the national and international growth of the sport of volleyball and the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. Nominations for the William G. Morgan Award must be supported by at least five sources and the recipient must have been an active supporter of the sport for at least ten years (not necessarily consecutive). Mintonette Medallion of Merit Award
Created in 1996, the Mintonette Medallion of Merit is awarded in recognition of significant individual achievement. The Mintonette Medallion of Merit recalls the original name that volleyball's inventor, William G. Morgan, assigned to the sport when he invented it in 1895. President's Award
Established in 2017 to recognize Board members and volunteers that go above and beyond in their service to the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. Mayoral Award of Excellence
Established in 2023 to recognize a person, group or organization that has directly contributed to the sport of volleyball or the International Volleyball Hall of Fame and represents the ideals and spirit of the City of Holyoke.
